May Day 2010

Although the sun was shy  until the end of the day, the rain clouds stayed away and we had a wonderful May Day Celebration on Thursday 6th May 2010.

The day before friends and family helped to decorate the coach with flowers donated by parents.

Everybody  arrived in their beautiful clothes, which were adorned with fresh flowers!

As well as singing and poetry, we were entertained by our talented pianists, violinists and recorders.

The Village Walk

We were joined on our walk by family, friends and PCSO Butter, all of whom braved the chilly weather to enjoy our spring songs. Of course the highlight, as always was the stop outside Miss Wood's house! I wonder why?

The May Day Concert

After a long lunch, we all came back for singing and dancing around the maypole. We will retire our Maypole this year ready for a new one next year.
