Today we have been scientist. Linked to our learning in Literacy on the season of winter we carried out a science experiment using ice. We made predictions and observations of how the ice changed as it melted. We explored speeding up the melting process by adding salt to some of the blocks and then comparing this to the blocks that had no salt on them. We thought about other ideas to speed up the melting process and explored making the blocks smaller to speed up the melting process.
